Overview

Responsibilities

iPhone / iPad development, including implementing applications with standard UI components, creating custom UI components, connecting applications to back end services
Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative apps
Stay on top of trends in the Apple developer community, iOS development, and competitive landscape
Lead conversations around proactive iOS development
Manage app deployment and the App Store submission process
Effective problem solving, and ability to follow a methodical implementation process
Participating in functional specification reviews and scoping
Developing and implementing maintainable and high quality code that meets the requirements of the project
Maintaining and bug fixing existing code
Providing clear and concise guidance to the Quality Assurance team for test case planning, working closely with QA to resolve any defects identified

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related engineering or technical field or self-taught with a solid portfolio and apps in the App Store
XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML or other web technologies
C or C++
Objective-C
Familiarity with XCode
Database / SQL experience
Solid understanding of responsive web practices
Familiarity with Dashcode, bridging web and native technologies
Used Agile Methodology as a software development process following continuous integration programming, particularly SCRUM,
Experience with system, network, and hardware-level debugging and CPU-level performance analysis is a Plus
Ability to work without direct supervision while ensuring the success of the team
Experience working with a formal QA process and proper bug handling
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, and peer code-reviews
Experience with version control systems such as SVN and Git preferred
